I'm Abashia
This page is all about me and how Baash by Design came to be.

I've been a creative arts teacher for many years, and I've always had the passion to create, any assessments I gave my learners I did it with them to show them that it's possible.

When my learners grew up and went to matric they would always ask me to draw something on their shirts for them. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've drawn everything from Harry Potter Logos to Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks.

My drawings turned into making hand cut stencils and painting on t shirts, I later started working with printable iron ons and in 2021 I bought my very own vinyl cutter. It was bought with the intention of making my own stickers and t shirt designs, but thanks to my eager friends, family and learners, it quickly grew into a business. 
I've been blessed to have many orders every week.

However, due to ill health, I decided to leave my 9-5 job and turn my side hustle into my full time hustle. I will always strive to do my utmost best, constantly learning new techniques and designs.
